Frosty weather,Scottish kilts, shortbread and everything Scottish!
May 14, 2024

It’s been a chilly busy couple of weeks …and we have been enjoying discovering the sparkle and sensory awakenings of the frosty winter weather ….

Out at Forest school we have made rain catchers to measure the difference in rainfall out in the open and under the shelter of trees…

Inside we have been learning all about hibernation …we made some delicious cinnamon rice pudding as we decided that if we were to hibernate this would be a wonderful feast to keep us going ….

This week in honour of burns night this Thursday we have been learning all about Scotland…looking at its flag, trying on tartan kilts and scarfs , spotting Scotland on the map, making Scottish shortbread, stirring up the porridge and even learning some Scottish dancing …..So much fun …so many learning moments and most importantly lots of happy memories being made ….
